The role of a Client Experience CO-OP Student is to assist with the design and implementation of memorable experiences for physicians in Canada, working closely with cross-functional teams to research, design and trial solutions. In this work term, my responsibilities included implementing ideas to create memorable moments for physicians and enhance their experience with MD, and assisting with tracking, measuring, and reporting the impact that trials and programs have on client experience.

As a Project Assistant at the OPP EREM-MICE Project, implemented by a team at the Canadian Coast Guard, I've worked on activities related to the procurement of environmental response equipment, as well as having developed communications products such as a communications strategy, branding materials, and a quarterly newsletter.

In my role as Head of Professional Development, I was responsible for keeping team members engaged and interested in professional development and career building activities in their community with a bi-weekly newsletter. This position also involved coordinating workshops and events for the professional and personal growth of Enactus uOttawa members.

In my COOP work term for summer 2018, I've had the chance to create content, design graphics, forge parternships with various organizations, and manage social media for the communications, marketing and community engagement team of CANImmunize, a mobile app to help Canadians organize and stay up-to-date on their immunization records.
Marketing and Merchandising: The Growcer

When on the Marketing and Merchandising team, I worked on designing and creating content for The Growcer meal kits and generated recipes that were culturally relevant to a Northern Canadian community. The Growcer is a social enterprise that manufactures containerized growing systems for remote food production. designed to work in extreme conditions (like the Arctic) for consistent, year-round production of leafy greens, brassicas and herbs.
Head of Education: TowerGardens
May 2017 - May 2018
As Head of Education for the Enactus uOttawa project TowerGardens, I oversaw outreach and community engagement initiatives such as workshops and school partnerships. TowerGardens is a program that teaches students about the challenges that Northern Canada faces in food insecurity through hands-on workshops on nutrition, entrepreneurship, and indigenous studies using TowerGarden hydroponic growing systems.
